					<description>Good post and I agree: we need to consciously assign more appreciation to the people *really* doing the work. 

I do a very simple thing in this regard:
* Whenever I talk about something that went right, I say we (providing I *was* involved, otherwise it's them.
* When I talk about something that went wrong, I say me!

So:
We had a great idea at the meeting yesterday
The latest version we released rocks
The design they went with in the other group chose is amazing

Or:
The idea I suggested at the meeting yesterday turns out to be really bad
I introduced an ugly bug in the latest version
The design I though was good turned out to be terrible</description>
